i live friday to friday these days. we had a good and slow-paced appointment with bob. i always leave feeling more "up" than when i went in which i guess is a good thing. damn it all to hell but some part of me still wants him.
parker had her first appointment with ina today. she argued and whined about going but by the time we got in the car she was talking excitedly about seeing her. in her usual parker style she made herself right at home (took off her shoes and led the way back to the "office"). i stayed in the room for about 5 minutes while she got situated with the sand box and then snuck out to the living room to read a magazine for the remaining 40 minutes of the appointment. she apparently had a fantastic time and argued with ina when she said it was time to wrap up for the day. she came out in a fantastic mood and is very excited to go back and play again next thursday. my job is to be honest with parker and not make promises that i don't know can be kept (regarding if/when r is coming and so forth).
