yeah so, miss p had pre-k orientation today in her classroom. she got her cubby assignment, reacquainted herself with the teachers and discovered that her two best friends from last year are in the same class as she is. bk said he was coming but wound up getting 'swamped with work' about 10 minutes before we were supposed to be there.
speaking of swamped with work... the website is in the testing phase, connected up with the bank so we can accept credit cards. we've decided on packaging that'll be quicker and sleeker than before. business cards and labels are being designed and the 40 pound melanger (refines 40lbs of chocolate at once instead of just 7) is being shipped as we speak. the beast weighs 250 and i think the last time i was this excited about something arriving it came out through my vajayjay. our plan is to go live with sales on october 1st and we'll be thrilled to fulfill all your christmas wishes. ya'll we own a fucking business and this is SO exciting. :D
speaking of more swamptedness... like i said before, i was rehired at the high school and am gonna be there tomorrow working on finding anchor papers with the head of the department. and next week i get to go to school at 7.45 (boy, don't miss those days) and grade the papers based on the anchors.
and then, this afternoon i got to go and learn how to set up mini soccer goals because folks, i am the *wait for it* goal parent for the team. that's right. the only female representative from possibly the entire nationwide ayso organization to volunteer to set up goals before the games. thank you thank you. no no really everyone sit down. you're embarrassing me... ask me about the boys under 8 team named the red rockets. yes, you read that correctly.
meanwhile, back at the ranch: d is in denver whoopin' it up at the cedia (that's custom electronic design & installation association for all you 'lame men') expo. when i spoke with him last night he was drinking at a bowling alley in good d fashion. ;) i told him to do whatever he wants as long as he brings me home a giant bag of swag (that's souveniers wearables and gifts).
